Must I attend?
(Transfers)

In a word - YES!  All new students must attend a TRANSFERmation program.  If extenuating circumstances beyond your control prevent you from attending a summer program, a final program will be held in August just before classes begin.  This one day provides very limited information on campus services and allows for academic advisement and registration.  This final program is designed for late admits (after July 23rd) and special circumstances ONLY.

Please do all that you can to attend a summer program.  Our
TRANSFERmation programs have been redesigned to offer you the most accommodating sessions while accounting for and recognizing your previous college experience.

If you have unusual circumstances, please contact Robin McAleese, the Coordinator of New Student Orientation by telephone at (315) 341-2240, or by mail at 501 Culkin Hall, Oswego State University, Oswego, NY 13126, or by e-mail at [email protected]

Parents, spouses and/or other family members are welcome to attend a
TRANSFERmation  program with you.
